Orly Out of this World and OPI Glacier Bay Blues!

Ok, I am just going to say my polishing may not keep up with my original plan of a polish a day because I got the surprise announcement that I am moving across the country in a few months, so I am going to be busy, busy, busy!

Although small home repair and packing may do some damage to my manis and painting my nails is so relaxing that I may just take the time to do it every day anyway just for a bit of "me time" to keep me centered and not freaking out and running around like a headless chicken.

Today I am wearing OPI Glacier Bay Blues- This is an older polish from the OPI Canadian collection.  It is from the dark ages of pre-3 free and awesome brush but I adore anyway!

It is a dark blue, teal and purple duochrome here I am wearing 3 layers and it is mostly opaque but with the moving and what not I did not have time for another coat plus topcoat so I am just rolling with it.  Pleas excuse the messy paint job, I snapped the picture pretty quickly after I did it because I had to get back to being at least semi productive, plus all of my nails have broken recently and I am BAD at painting my stubby nails!

Admittedly this polish is a bit streaky and weird to apply with the stupid tiny brush and smells really funky because all the chemicals but it is gorgeous and makes me super happy to look at!

Yesterdays Mani was ORLY Out of this World from the Cosmic FX Collection,  I did this one quick for a friend who wanted to see it on someone she knew's fingers!

I LOVE this polish and need to use it more often because LOOK AT IT! It has a blackish purple base with purple glitter in it. It is a little thin to apply and takes about 3 coats to look opaque but the effect is so lovely!   Orly has to have my favorite brush and top for applying I love the control I have with the rubberized top!

USE ALL THE POLISH!

I am challenging myself to use ALL THE POLISHES! I may do one or more in a day and will try to update here at least every few days!

Today's Polish- OPI Teenage Dream from the Katy Perry collection.  I got this as a gift from a wonderful friend for Christmas and although I am not really a "pink" person I LOVE this polish.  It has a great formula with the microglitters and the bigger glitters.  It makes me happy just to look at it!

I used 3 thin layers and topped it off with Butter London Hardware Topcoat.

An Intro, and My First Franken.

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog!  I am new to blogging and new-ish to nail art.  As a life long nail biter I used pretty nails to keep me from gnawing them off!   Right now my nails are pretty short because winter is messing with my hair, skin and nails, but I am still busy painting them!

For now I will leave you with my latest creation: My First Franken!

In my January Ipsy box I recieved Nailtini Frappe, the color and sheerness was just not working for me at all and instead of getting angry at ipsy for sending me yet another makeup color I can't use I decided to franken it!

I used a sample bag of Shiro Cosmetics A Neat Gun that I had received as a gift from a friend and rescued this polish from the box of polishes I keep but never use and turned it into something fun for whenever spring may arrive here!   Please excuse my cuticles, they are a mess!

Thanks for visiting! There will be more to come!
